A New Home

COVID-19 update

There is a new national definition of a close contact which Tasmania will adopt from January 1st.

“A close contact will be someone who has spent four hours or more with a confirmed case in a household or household-like setting, such as a residential care facility.

Those contacts will be required to quarantine for seven days, and take a rapid antigen test (RAT) on day six.

Therefore, from a Riverbend perspective, no one can attend the campsite or enter the buildings if they have any cold or flu like symptoms or have been identified as a close contact or have been directed to isolate by Public Health.   This takes effect as from Saturday January 1st.

Those who do attend the campsite, and are over the age of 12, MUST wear a mask inside the building and use the Tasmanian check in app.
